The Soloist was originally created by Jackson, but it has been copied by many other manufacturers.  It is a spin-off of the Fender Strat with radically different construction.  The Soloist is built as a neck-through, with a smooth carved heel, and deeply scooped cut-aways.  It has an original Floyd Rose trem, mounted recessed.  It has two humbuckers, a selector switch, and master volume and tone knobs.
